Dr. Farhad Daneshgar

Dr. Farhad Daneshgar received his PhD from the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia, and has been teaching at Sydney University and the University of New South Wales in the past 15 years. He is the creator of the awareness net modeling language which is a high-level modeling language for collaborative business processes and his research interest include eLearning, Knowledge Management, e-collaboration, and Higher Degree Research Education. Dr. Daneshgar has published in excess of 40 research articles in refereed journals in the above areas, and his latest research interest is in higher degree research training and is currently involved in a major collaborative research project that seeks ways of enhancing PhD training through the Threshold Concept Theories and Frameworks. He is a member of the editorial board in five academic journals and has been awarded the Outstanding Research Award from the Australian School of Business (ASB) in 2008 and in 2011, as well as several research grants from the University of New South Wales in Sydney Australia where he also serves as a member of Research Grant Assessment Committee.
