Dr. Prapon Phasukyud
Knowledge Management Institute Thailand



Presently Dr. Prapon Phasukyud is the President of the Knowledge Management Institute (KMI) of Thailand, he has been with KMI since 2003. Prior to coming to KMI, he was a Dean of the College of Innovation at Thammasat University (CITU) during 1999 – 2003. His expertise covers various areas such as Project Management, Quality Management, Leadership Development and Knowledge Management.

Dr. Prapon earned a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from Chulalongkorn University, a MS in Civil Engineering from University of Texas at Arlington, a MS in Engineering Management from University of Missouri-Rolla, and a PhD from University of Missouri-Columbia. He has over thirty years of combined engineering, management, consulting and teaching experiences. During 1990-1994, he has functioned as the QA Manager for Christiani & Neilsen (Thai) Public Company Limited. During 1994-1999 worked as a TQM & ISO 9000 Consultant. In the academic sector he was an Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland (Eastern Shore Campus) during 1987-1990 and an Adjunct Deputy Dean at Assumption University Graduate School during 1992-1999.

Dr. Prapon is the author of many KM books including KM for beginners, KM: A Path to LO, KM Inside: The Human Aspect of KM, and also translated many books in Thai such as Intuition, Freedom, Intelligence, Maturity, Tao, Zen, Emotional Wellness and Being in Love. Currently, he has been involved with many trainings and seminars on KM, LO, Leadership Development, and Self Development Workshop.
