Dr. Vincent Ribière

Program Director, Co-Founder, Associate Professor
Dr. Vincent Ribiere is the Co-Founder and Program Director of the Ph.D. program in Knowledge Management and Innovation Management (KIM) at Bangkok University and the co-founder and the Managing Director of the Southeast Asia branch of the Institute for Knowledge and Innovation (IKI-SEA) hosted by Bangkok University. His research focuses on how knowledge management enables innovation and organizational performance, particularly in fast evolving and collaborative environments. He examines the human, social, and behavioral dynamics of knowledge sharing and hiding, as well as the mechanisms that foster team creativity and learning. More recently, he explore how emerging technologies such as Gen AI can enhance knowledge processes, innovation practices, and organizational transformation.

Prof. Susanne Durst

Co-Program Director, Full Professor
Dr. Susanne Durst is a Full Professor at the Institute for Knowledge and Innovation Southeast Asia (IKI-SEA) of Bangkok University. Her research interests include responsible knowledge (risk) management, responsible digital transformation, and sustainable business development in the context of smaller entrepreneurial organizations. She has been conducting several national and international research projects on knowledge management, SME business transfers, marketing, corporate governance, and innovation management. Her work has been published widely in international peer-reviewed journals and recognised through various awards, including the Transeo Academic Award in 2012 and the Emerald Literati Award “Outstanding Paper“ in 2020 and 2023. She is the Editor-in-Chief of The Bottom Line and an Editor of Knowledge Management Research and Practice. Before joining academia, she worked with private enterprises of different sizes and industries.

Dr. Ronald Vatanan-Thesenvitz

Ronald Vatananan-Thesenvitz has received his Ph.D. in the field of Management from the College of Management, Mahidol University (Thailand). His research interests focus on strategy roadmapping to help organizations navigate the constant changes in their business environment.

Dr. Detlef Reis

Assistant Professor
Dr. Detlef Reis (aka “Dr. D”) is an Innovation Expert & Creativity Catalyst at Bangkok University. He served as Adjunct Associate Professor at the School of Business, Hong Kong Baptist University (2007–2025), and previously taught Business Creativity and Creative Leadership at the College of Management, Mahidol University in Bangkok. Dr. Reis is the Founder and Chief Creator of Thinkergy, a creative breakthrough company with bases in Bangkok, Hong Kong, and San Diego. Over the past two decades, he and Thinkergy have delivered over 100 high-impact innovation workshops, trainings, and projects for multinational corporations, SMEs, startups, and government and non-government organizations across Asia, Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Africa. He is the creator of Thinkergy’s proprietary innovation methods, including X-IDEA, Genius Journey, TIPS, and CooL. His work focuses on enabling leaders and teams to drive breakthrough innovation in the emerging Sixth Wave of Technology Innovation. Dr. Reis earned his doctorate in international management from Saarland University in Germany and authored the German-language book “Financial Management in International Small- and Medium-sized Enterprises.” Prior to founding Thinkergy, he spent more than 16 years at Deutsche Bank across Germany, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Hong Kong, where he served as Vice President in the Global Banking Division. He is the author of “Unleashing WOW! The Creative Leader’s Guide to Breakthrough Innovation,” a prolific blogger with over 400 published articles, and a regular contributor to the Bangkok Post. Dr. Reis is also a sought-after keynote speaker on creativity, innovation, and creative leadership. His research interests comprise Business Creativity, Creative Process Methods & Tools, Cognitive Profiling, and Creative Leadership, from both methodological and pedagogical perspectives.

Dr. Chulatep Senivongse

Assistant Professor
Dr. Chulatep Senivongse is an Assistant Professor at the Institute for Knowledge and Innovation, Bangkok University. He brings extensive industry experience from a distinguished career in large corporation. Over the past decade, he has transitioned into academia, earning his Ph.D. in Knowledge Management from the Ph.D. KIM program. His expertise centers on organizational learning and knowledge management, with a strong focus on applying these concepts to real-world contexts. He actively engages in research and serves as a consultant to government agencies and business organizations, supporting initiatives in knowledge management and organizational development.

Dr. Punyapat (So) Saksupapchon

Dr. Punyapat Saksupapchon is a lecturer at the Institute for Knowledge and Innovation Southeast Asia (IKI-SEA), Bangkok University, Thailand. She specializes in innovation and intellectual property management and is a certified Thai patent agent. She holds a doctorate in Economics and Business Administration, with a specialization in innovation management, from HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management in Germany. She also earned a master’s degree in Space Science and Technology from the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech) in Russia. Additionally, she has been a visiting scholar at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA, and the German Aerospace Center (DLR), Germany. She brings extensive experience as an educator, researcher, engineer, manager, and consultant across Asia, Europe, and North America. Her research interests focus on patent data analysis for identifying technological development trends and on organizational intellectual property management.

Dr. Dongcheol (Terry) Heo

Assistant Professor
Dr. Dongcheol (Terry) Heo is an assistant professor and knowledge and innovation management consultant at IKI-SEA. Dr. Heo received his Bachelor and Master degrees in Sociology from Seoul National University, South Korea, and pursued his Ph.D. from University of South Carolina, US until he changed his major into management.

Dr. Irene Fan

Dr. Irene Fan has more than 30 years of innovative experience in the ICT industry. She developed and managed mobile products and services and broadband wireless network for Canadian carriers, performed R&D of wireless internet at Lucent Technologies/Bell Labs, and developed innovation strategy for the Hong Kong ASTRI.

I am one of the three original developers of the world renowned COLOSSUS Expert System for handling bodily injury & workers compensation claims back in 1990s. Between 2000 & 2005, I assumed the roles of Chief Research Officer, Asia Pacific for CSC, Innovation Manager at AMP & Maybank. My research areas are knowledge management technologies, Web 2.0, knowledge services, semantic technologies, & Blended Learning systems. My papers have twice won the Highly Commended category of the Emerald Literati Network Award for Excellence in 2008 & 2011. At HKPolyU, I received the High Impact Award in 2008, finalist & winner of the Teaching & Learning Innovation Awards in 2009 & 2010 respectively, and a Merit Award in Teaching in 2013. I had chaired the Working Group on ELearning and lead the CoP on Technology-enhanced Teaching & Learning. I have received more than HK$9m funding on various Teaching and Learning related projects. I am an honorary advisor in the area of Knowledge Management for the Hong Kong Police and the Correctional Services Dept in the HKSAR government. Since 2005, I have supervised/completed more than 200 KM projects & examined more than a dozen theses. I twice received the Knowledge Management Leadership Award (2014 & 2018) and the Knowledge Management Excellence Award (2021). Prof. Sladjana Cabrilo

Dr. Sladjana Cabrilo is a Full Professor at I-Shou University, Taiwan, with visiting roles in Serbia and across Europe. With a multidisciplinary background in engineering, technology, and management, she holds advanced degrees including a PhD in Industrial Engineering and Management. Dr. Cabrilo has over 20 years of academic experience, specializing in knowledge and innovation management, strategic leadership, and international business. She is widely published, recognized globally for her research on intellectual capital and sustainable development. A member of prestigious editorial boards and global networks, she continues to shape future-ready leaders and advance knowledge-based economies through her cutting-edge scholarship. Dr. Arthur Shelley

Arthur Shelley is founder and CEO of Intelligent Answers and the Producer of Creative Melbourne. An independent capability development and knowledge strategy consultant with 30 years experience in international professional roles. Leading projects provided him with unique insights into what motivates people to collaborate. He works closely with clients to build individual and team capabilities through the facilitation of knowledge co-creating initiatives. His interactive workshops and programs focus on understanding behaviour and relationships, to increase productivity and successfully implement change. Author of three books: KNOWledge SUCCESSion - Sustained capability and performance growth through strategic knowledge projects (2017). Being a Successful Knowledge Leader - What knowledge practitioners need to know to make a difference (2009). The Organizational Zoo - A Survival Guide to Workplace Behaviour (2007) provides a unique set of fun animal profiles to simplify workplace interactions. Arthur regularly speaks and facilitates interactive workshops at international events. He is the course coordinator for Knowledge Management in RMIT University’s MBA program and was formerly the Global Knowledge Director for Cadbury Schweppes.
